Gutter Cleaning & Downspouts in Southwest Florida
Southwest Florida gutters fill with palm fronds, oak catkins and roof grit, and the rainy season finds every blockage. Water backs up over the edge, soaks the fascia, and feeds mold on the wall below. We clear the troughs, flush the downspouts until they run clean, and tell you what we saw up there. Who this service is for
If you have not looked in the gutters since last season, there is a good chance they are holding water. We clear them, flush them, and show you photos of what came out so you know whether this is a once-a-year job or a twice.
Your gutters fill through the exact months you are away, and a summer of overflow is what rots fascia. We clear them before you arrive and again before you leave, so the rainy season does not run unsupervised.
This is ladder work on wet ground, and it is the single most common fall in home maintenance. There is no reason for you to be up there.
Overflow staining on the fascia reads as neglect in an inspection report. Clearing the gutters and washing the streaks off is a cheap fix before photos.
Scheduled clearing across a portfolio, before and after the wet season, with photos per property for your records.
Overflow stains on the fascia and wall are a common violation-letter trigger down here. Clearing the cause and washing the evidence usually closes it out.
How it works
Tell us the house
Single or two storey, roughly how many linear feet, and whether there are screen-cage sections. That is enough for a flat quote — no inspection visit needed first.
We clear by hand and bag it
Troughs cleared by hand into bags rather than blown across your beds and pool. The debris leaves with us.
Every downspout gets flushed
Clearing the trough is half the job. We run water through each downspout until it comes out clean at the bottom, because the blockages that actually cause overflow are usually in the pipe, not the gutter.
You get told what we saw
Photos of anything worth knowing: standing water, pulled hangers, separated seams, rust. If what you need is a roofer or a gutter installer rather than us, we say so.

How often do gutters need clearing in Southwest Florida?
Most homes here need it at least once a year, and twice if there are oaks, pines, or palms over the roof. The timing that matters is before the rainy season — getting it done in May or early June is worth more than getting it done in February.
Do you just blow them out?
No. Blowing debris out of a trough sends it across your landscaping, pool, and screens, and it does nothing for a blocked downspout. We clear by hand, bag it, flush each downspout, and take the debris with us.
How do I know if a downspout is blocked?
Water overflowing at one corner while the rest of the gutter runs fine is the classic sign, as is a downspout that stays dry in heavy rain. Standing water in the trough after a dry week means it is not draining anywhere.
Can you fix a gutter that is pulling away?
We can re-seat a loose hanger. Separated seams, rusted-through sections, re-pitching a run, or replacing gutter is a gutter installer's work, and we will tell you that plainly rather than patching something that needs replacing.
Will you clean the stains off the fascia too?
Yes, and it is worth doing in the same visit — the staining is the visible part of the problem you just fixed. That falls under our outdoor cleaning work.
Do you work on two-storey homes?
Yes. Tell us when you call so we bring the right ladder and plan the access, particularly on wet ground or over a pool cage.
